LAUNCH OF BUSY 21

I am pleased to announce the release of BUSY 21. The same is expected to be released in Jan 2021. There are no major changes as far as product is concerned, and it should be seen just as a continuation of BUSY 18.

Then Why BUSY 21?

The primary reason for introducing BUSY 21 is to effect Price Change which we have been contemplating for a long time. The price structure for BUSY 21 will be as below:

Model BUSY 18 BUSY 21

BS Rs. 7,200 Rs. 9,000

SS Rs. 12,600 Rs. 13,500

ES Rs. 18,000 Rs. 18,000

§ The price of Dual-User and Multi-User will be 1.5 and 2.5 times of Single-User

§ BLS Price will remain same. It will thus become uniform - 20% of List Price

§ Taxes extra as applicable

A by-product of this decision would be in terms of bringing a freshness to its name (BUSY 21) as BUSY 18 is being used for 3 years now.

Queries related to BUSY 21

Obviously, by now many questions would have arisen in your mind. I have tried to answer some of them which I could anticipate. The same are given below:

Q: What will happen to Users of BUSY 18 with Active BLS?

A: They will get FREE upgrade to BUSY21. BLS Date will remain same.

Q: What will happen to Users of BUSY 18 with Expired BLS?

A: They can continue to use BUSY 18 without any New Updates / GSP Services. They can upgrade to BUSY 21 by paying upgrade charges (BS – 1800, SS – 2700, ES - 3600). Once upgraded, they will get one year BLS. As Upgrade Charges are same as BLS Renewal Charges of BUSY18, there won’t be any pricing impact.

Q: What will happen to new boxes of BUSY 18 lying with Channel Partners?

A: Once BUSY 21 is released, New License Registration of BUSY 18 will be stopped. Partners can upgrade new boxes of BUSY 18 to BUSY 21 by paying differential price (1800 for BS & 900 for SS). These upgrades will be done by BIPL.

Q: What if a new User want to buy BUSY 18 only (due to lower cost)?

A: This option will not be available. Once BUSY 21 is released, BUSY 18 will not be available.

Q: What will happen to Users of BUSY 17 & below?

A: They can continue to use BUSY without any new updates / GSP services. They can upgrade to BUSY 21 anytime by paying Upgrade Price. On upgradation, they will get one year BLS.
